Everybody Loves Eric Raymond #
I really love how John Leach is openly mining Eric Raymond’s blog for material. At the end of the comic, he cites the very entries he’s lampooning. Dual effect: the readers get the joke AND Eric Raymond get’s the trackback.
He’s even responded to the feedback. Richard Stallman replied to the second strip, “It is funny, but I’m disappointed that it accentuates the shallow.”
Later, in one comic, he’s got Eric Raymond uttering, “Sure but with enough eyeballs all jokes are shallow.” RAWFUL!! Guys, that cracks me up. Twisted and loverly. (seen on advogato.)
