The latest issue of Rubima is out (alas, no YARV Maniacs dept!) and features one highly interesting summary of the Lightweight Languages Ring in Shinkiba, Japan. This was a head-to-head language match with presentations given directly from the boxing ring! Ding ding ding!

This shot to the right is, in fact, the incumbent matz, though Rubima doesn’t ever show a picture of his face. But you can witness videos of the event, which reveal a spritely matz, who is but a flurry across the ring, throwing UpperCut exceptions and duck-type jabs. Don’t miss the ending, wherein our man pulls a Cobra Clutch Suplex and his opponent backtraces all over the mat.

But, wait, let’s not stop there. An O’Caml talk was given by an upright donkey. Whose dissertation was surely met with a great clamour of hooves!
