Ruby-Lang Redesign Has Legs! #
Remember that scrappy Ruby.org mockup from a month back?? Well, things have been steadily moving on a redesign of Ruby-Lang, thanks to the persistent efforts of Curt Hibbs, Ben Giddings, and a wealth of folks from ruby-talk.
Matz gave his saintly blessings to organize a Visual Identity Team and our friends who manage Ruby-Lang have joined the team to help guide us.
As of today, Ben Giddings, John Long, Michel Martens and myself act as the core team and we will be presenting some designs in a week or two. We already have some great designs in the works and I can’t wait to slide them out under your noses!

I’m an idiot, I just noticed that Robert’s post said “I subscribed after I saw this entry”, and he’s right, there hasn’t been any traffic since 25 Feb. Sorry!

Well, there were a handful of messages posted last week which basically said, “I’m zoning out this discussion because it’s all talk, nothing’s getting done, etc.” I felt like the discussion was great, though, and lots of very useful input to sort through. I hope it starts up again.
Anyway, discussion will pick up again when we post the designs.
