Very nice! To get random numbers from different sources, you can use the realrand module. It’s available as a gem.

Yeah, gotta avoid using Kernel#open when you’ve required both rubygems and open-uri, unless you’re still back on 0.9.2.

I totally love the presentation, but it seems satirical, as if we have to go to such lengths just to move a random number somewhere ;-) I’m hoping it wouldn’t be a stretch for any system requiring such numbers to just grab plain text directly!
